Consultants must meet the following qualifications:

1. Consultant must be credentialed: RHIA, RHIT or CCS.
2. Consultant must have a minimum 3 years of hospital experience in all or some of the following areas: In-Patient, Out-Patient, ER and/or Surgery Coding.
3. Consultants must be willing to travel.
4. Consultants must have good communication skills.
5. Consultants must demonstrate computer coding system and communication skills required to perform the coding tasks. Knowledge of encoders a must.

   2. Consultants are considered an independent subcontractor.
